A Repertory Company of Characters – Motivational Monday quote

Don’t worry if the characters in your new NaNoWriMo story seem too much like ones you’ve already written. We all have “players” that we keep going back to and whose stories we keep retelling. It’s okay — just keep writing.

“Each writer is born with a repertory company in his head. Shakespeare has perhaps 20 players. … I have 10 or so, and that’s a lot. As you get older, you become more skillful at casting them.” —Gore Vidal
